Birth Package
My birth package is designed to provide continual care beginning in pregnancy all the way through the postpartum period. This package includes:
Free initial meeting to answer your questions and make sure we’d be a good fit
2 prenatal meetings (either virtual or in-person)
During our prenatal meetings the goal is to build rapport and learn about your preferences, values, worries, coping styles, and any experiences you’ve had that may affect the way you would like to labor and birth. As I understand your individual desires and needs, we discuss what birth can look like, focusing less on a rigid “plan” and more on creating a supportive, safe environment for you to feel your best. We also speak extensively on planning and preparing for the postpartum period, in order to ease the transition into parenthood.
Unlimited text, phone, and email support throughout your pregnancy
For all your questions, fears, and exciting updates!
On call from 2 weeks before your due date until baby is born
Being on call means that my phone is on, I’m nearby, and I’m ready to meet you ASAP once you call. I’m like Batman!
In person labor support
I will join you wherever you are laboring/delivering, whenever you are ready for my presence! I will provide support and encouragement however you need, help involve your support people, and assist in navigating medical spaces and your medical care providers.
2 postpartum meetings
We will meet a few days after birth to reflect on your birth process, discuss any questions or concerns you have, and ensure that baby and parents are adjusting well. A second postpartum session is often used a couple weeks later for helping with feeding, sleeping, babywearing, or other aspects of life with an infant. No matter how your transition into parenthood is feeling, I can listen and support with a calm, knowledgeable energy.
Postpartum Support
Whether you need assistance feeling confident caring for your baby, with light household chores or just some time to tend to yourself while someone else cares for your newborn, my postpartum care centers you first and foremost. Everyone wants to hold the baby, but who is there to hold the rest of the family after birth?
Birth Plan Meeting
Do you have plenty of support for the day of your labor, but need some help knowing what to expect and making a birth plan? Schedule a one time meeting to learn from my expertise!
A La Carte Services
My goal as your doula is to meet the specific needs of you and your family. Wanting an extra prenatal to go more in depth about coping skills for labor? A session to prep meals for postpartum? Help with your first outing with baby? Great! Lets chat about it.
